Ukraine’s interior ministry is the center of the trouble. In a report to the attorney general, it wrote that there is”suspicion that a large number of workers employed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs were involved in organized crime”. The internal affairs officer claims that more than a million are suspected of such activity, and,”A few of them have been arrested.” Things do not look good for the Interior Ministry. I doubt if the picture of the ministry was in any way tarnished they would want to jeopardize a vote for re-election.
And I am not sure that this will help. It may go the way of the failures that are recent , like the introduction of a new office at the Defense Ministry. I am pretty sure that those two items wouldn’t work.
Is it possible to bring the services of the Ukraine barbershop back? How hard is it to restore a vital support to the people of Ukraine? If nothing else, it is going to take the nation and the government’s mood to get back on track.
If you’re considering a barbershop, make sure you know how things work in the Ukranian barbering business. A few years back, before there was corruption, many barbers worked outside the area, drawing on on their solutions, and working with the rural population. That was before the arrival of the ethnic Russian invasion.
If you have read the book”Restless” by Christopher Caldwell, you may know about the different barbers who would come into the area, looking for different jobs. That’s part of what attracted these barbers into the area – they could get better deals, and better service, when they worked there. There are too many to do that.
Not long ago, local people reported that many of the new bars had put up signs that said”Russian barbers”, since they wanted to grab the interest of the natives, and keep them coming back for more. This has upset the locals, who consider it a little unpatriotic to discriminate against their own kind.
Many Ukrainians are currently looking to learn about barbers. They ought to be cautious to not start seeing the barbershop as a symbol of European civilization, because that is not the case. But there is no use in attempting to turn the clock back, because that doesn’t serve anyone.
Be sure that you make time to check out the local barbershop. One of the first things that you will see is that the difference in the air. You will even see the difference in the appearance of the barbers. There will be a feeling of change, and the barbershop will be there to welcome it.
There will be less conflict over who’s cutting the other way as well as hair round. There’ll not be as much rudeness, too. In the long term, it is best for the people of Ukraine that things return to normal.
Now, I must confess that I did not like the idea of going to a Ukrainian barbershop myself. My very best friend and I traveled to a place and we were both happy. I can’t say I am the same way. I will admit that meet a few and I might like to visit Ukraine one day.
Please consider of this. Please consider dreams and all the hopes that the Ukraine barbershop will be back on track.
